Op het Bethesda Row Arts Festival, een van de belangrijkste festivals voor schone kunsten en ambachten in de Midden-Atlantische regio, zijn juryleden van museumkwaliteitskunstenaars aanwezig. Dit weekend worden de straten van Bethesda Row omgetoverd tot een buitengalerij, waar veertien mediacategorieën worden tentoongesteld die worden beoordeeld: keramiek, tekenen/pastelkleuren, vezels/decoratief, vezels/wearables, glas, grafische afbeeldingen/grafiek, sieraden, metaalbewerking, gemengde media 2D, mixed media 3D, olie-/acrylschilderij, fotografie/digitale kunst, beeldhouwkunst, aquarel en hout.

This is not a painting. Fabric collage made entirely of tiny pieces from recycled, hand-dyed fabric. The fabric is layered to create light, color and shadow. All images come from my original sketches.

I create artworks using layered plywood and cut paper. The works are laser-cut and assembled by hand, then mounted on a painted panel of hardboard. Some include inkjet prints or pastel colors, and others acrylic paint.
